The ancient mystery of the pyramids of Egypt

In November 2020, a major archaeological discovery was made in Egypt. More than 100 delicately painted wooden coffins, some with mummies inside, and around 40 gilded statues were unearthed in the ancient burial ground of Saqqara, south of Cairo. The coffins, sealed over 2,500 years ago, are in perfect condition and the colors are still vibrant. This discovery is considered the largest find of its kind in 2020.
