The Best Time to Hunt the Rut

The coues rut is finally starting to happen in Mexico 🇲🇽 This has been the hardest season I’ve seen in 28 years hunting in Mexico. I can only speculate but the drought in Mexico has affected both coues and mule deer does timing of their cycle and caused some does to cycle late and I’ll bet some possibly won’t cycle at all. The first wave of hunters who went earlier in January had absolutely dismal reports of deer activity, movement and little to no rutting activity. The groups that are just ge
