2024年1月5日 · For Lithium I build 5 max sized thermal towers to produce brine and 1 for lithium. These Towers are powered by induvidual resistive heaters at 1.5Krf/t. I used 64 solar nutron activators just to be safe. Everything on this side is buffered by 4x4x4 dynamic tanks (lithium as liquid) and observered by a simple computer craft setup.

This happens because from 98mb/t onwards the temperatures get to a point where the fusion reactor starts to become inefficient. While a fully aircooled „Tier 2“-Reactor is a good energy source with 200MFE/t it fails to compare to the water cooled equivalent.

2019年4月17日 · My fusion reactor setup was only set to produce ~1M RF/t. This used two thermal evaporation plants at max size (18 blocks tall) with resistive heaters (no solar panels). Then I had 5 neutron activators, with a buffer of 6 ultimate gas tanks afterwards for the tritium. I also had 14 max upgraded electric pumps for the heavy water / deuterium.

A max sized turbine of 17x18x17 with 14 layers of rotors (28 blades) can handle 11,040,000 mB/t of steam. To generate that much Steam, a Fission Reactor only needs to run at 552 mB/t burn rate (552 * 20,000 = 11,040,000).
