2018年6月11日 · The stand is an old one – we must have bought it sometime in the 1970s or 80s when my husband was doing hand quilting and no longer seems to exist. So for myself, when I am working, a handheld hoop is best for me, but for demonstrating the floor hoop works better as it is easier for people to see the work and how it is being done.

2014年2月24日 · The floor stand for the System 4 simply takes up too much space to work in my stitching area so my floor stand is the Lowry stand. Nearly all of my stitching is done on stretcher bars and both stand work well. I really wish the System 4 would come out with a floor stand base more like the Lowry or K’s metal plate.

2007年8月11日 · I’m a huge fan of using a stand for needlework – whether it’s a lap stand or a floor stand, for needlework projects larger than 10 inches in any direction, I think the stand is a necessary tool for the embroiderer. So I’ve been on a quest, searching for a good one. My current embroidery stand is a wooden one from Lacis.

2008年1月16日 · The Needlework System 4 stand is the only floor stand I’ve ever tried (out of many!) where, once everything is set and tightened, I don’t have to readjust, even after a long time of stitching, moving, turning the frame, and so forth. The clamp is a simple vice set-up, made out of thick plastic, with a large screw on the top.

2011年12月16日 · The central column of the Necessaire stand “telescopes” – that is, it can be raised and lowered vertically. It does not tilt forward. When working in a regular chair (for example, a kitchen chair), the stand is telescoped up all the way. When sitting on a sofa, the stand can be adjusted much lower.

2011年11月23日 · The frame can work with the NS4 stand & frame clamp, but it won’t work the same way the stand works with regular stretcher-bar frames. I don’t know how the q-snap set-up works on the NS4 stand, and whether or not it will hold the round sides of the Millenium frame, as I don’t have the q-snap attachment for the NS4 stand.

2019年8月23日 · I like doing embroidery sitting at my work table and this is a perfect frame holder. But I also find that one stand does not serve all needs. I use a Millenium stand for large works( 13” +) on stretcher bars or roller bars.( particularly samplers) I use a Lowry for belt frames and smaller stretcher bar frames when I am not working at a table.

2011年11月15日 · It is Needle Needs in the UK. The needlework system 4 stand and clamp are not really the best option for holding the Millenium frame. I recommend either the Necessaire stand (at Needle Needs as well) or Judy O’Dell’s just …

2014年11月7日 · Scored a new base for it at a guild meeting sale last year. Almost all the members of my ANG chapter have switched to the metal Lowry frame, but not me. It’s no longer made but should last me the rest of my life. I did try the K’s metal floor stand several years ago and sold it to a chapter member. It was heavy and cumbersome to me.

2017年3月3日 · Allowing for a border of 2 inches on each side, this project will be quite large! I have bobbinated all of the colors, and bought a Lowery embroidery stand for this project. I am planning on stitching 2 strands over 1 on 22-count Hardanger fabric. Mythic Crafts slate embroidery frame would be perfect for this project! Linda Lee
