186 men and 186 women competed in judo at Paris 2024 across seven weight classes for each gender. The total of 372 judokas was slightly less than the 386 who competed at Tokyo 2020. A total of 15 events took place between 27 July and 3 August.

Originally developed as a "martial art" to perfect a man's mind, Judo has recently seen an influx of women practitioners, and their numbers are increasing around the world. Although the Waza and rules are basically the same for both men and women, there some areas of difference.

For female judokas, hair with longer length must be tied either in a pony tail or a hair bun (neat or messy). A plain white T-shirt must be worn. Contestants must bow before stepping onto the mat. Contestants must bow to each other before and after practice or competition.

Each team will be comprised of six judokas (three men, three women) competing across the six different weight classes listed below.
