2012年1月22日 · We used to harvest crawfish and sell at bait shop in Meredith. I don't see any crawfish anymore. There used to be many mussels. Don't see too many anymore. Developments such as the one Peter Kraine constructed didn't do the lake much help. Day boats come and go. Who knows what is on the bottom of those boats. The lake is fed from the north.

2021年12月17日 · Lastly Gerry mentions tools to break windows. If the glass is tempered various tools can break it. Some are sold at Walmart and auto stores and can include built-in seat belt cutters. Laminated glass is used more and more these days and according to Gerry-whom I asked this question of-CANNOT be broken-there is no way to get past it.

2024年11月22日 · The issue I find with my Mini Splits is it's better to "set it and forget it". Playing with the temperature works when it's above freezing because the air coming out of the units is still hot.

2024年12月2日 · The solution was an electric driveway mat covering twenty feet of driveway near the bottom. Having it at the bottom allows you to brake to a stop on dry pavement. It also gives you the chance to get some speed to carry you up the driveway.

2024年11月2日 · The assessor showed me a 1909(?) state law. That law declared Little Six Mile Island and Ozone Island to be in Moultonborough even though Google Maps thinks those two islands are in Meredith. That same law declared Fivemile Island to be entirely within Meredith even though Google Maps puts half of that island in Moultonborough.

2024年8月6日 · Annoying, but NH could pass a law requiring a large sticker be placed on fertilizers sold in NH--warning that employment near lakeshores is environmentally unsafe. 3) While they are at it, require a large-font printing of relevant and unique NH laws be placed on the back of all PFDs (life preservers) sold in NH. It could catch on with other states.

2024年10月13日 · One of the homes in the "parade of Homes" this year is across the street from me. There were 100's of cars with multiple passengers that went through this home yesterday. Looks like there are still plenty of people looking to buy or build. This home wasn't for sale, it was a complete rehab, inside and out, by Lighthouse construction.
