October 2022 edited October 2022 On our recent Canada Capital Cities tour, Tauck gave us an option to upgrade our room at our final 3 night stay (at the spectacular Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City). It came out to about $100/nt PP so we decided to do it.

2022年10月8日 · This was one of my first Tauck tours, more than a decade ago. The small towns, esp. Chautauqua history (Oak Bluffs) were a highlight for me. P-town was crazy-touristy in the summer; I spent that afternoon with a former neighbor (her artist-husband taught there) in lieu of whale watching and went to the art museum and the Portuguese bakeries.

I view Tauck's tipping suggestions as a minimum only guideline. I plan in advance, have my thank you cards and cash ready. I find that I usually exceed the guidelines. My choice, certainly not a requirement. And I always leave something for some crew members on riverboat tours. They work so hard and are away from home for such long periods of time.

2022年8月1日 · There was a tour director on our just finished tour who was training for the Kingdoms and Dragons tour. He usually leads the Japan tours, has lived in Japan for a while. He is a sweet young man who has lots of tour leading experience. He told us Tauck plans to start tours in Japan next March. His name is Trent.

March 2022 edited March 2022 Just a guess, it could be a temporary thing- the tour had been sold out but there was a cancellation. Now Tauck is working their way through a "wait list" by phone calls.

Yes. The Israeli Ministry of Health site says: On May, 21 2022, the mandate to take PCR tests upon entry to Israel will be lifted for Israelis and non-Israelis. Non-Israelis will not be required to take PCR or antigen tests before air travel to Israel. Additionally, Israel is lifting the mask-on-international-flights ban as of May 23, 2022.

2022年5月1日 · We personally find the slow walking and all the standing quite tiring on the tours. We are used to taking long brisk walks which suits us much better in our current health. The pace may also vary depending on the Tauck Director or local guides you end up with. Many places in Italy strictly control where and for how long buses can park.

Tauck, in it's past has always had tours only spaced a few days apart. We have been in the same hotel at the same time as other tours….one example being when we met Sealord in Africa when he was on KandT and we were on Tamzania Zanzibar. Years ago, as soon as all the published tours filled up, Tauck would add more.
