Olive Loaf - Food Traditions & Culture - eGullet Forums
2011年11月26日 · We sold plenty of olive loaf, along with a product called New England bologna. If my memory serves me correctly, those products were probably from Boar's Head. Anyway, to my taste, olive loaf was quite similar to bologna, but studded with green pimento stuffed olives. Made for a decent sandwich, whether on white, rye or a Kaiser roll.

I love that place. The only place I've been where they slice country ham off the bone by hand.

2006年6月15日 · carmelized onions with white wine and dill and olive oil. Sweet and delicious. There's a Filipino sweet pastry filled with carmelized onions. So, there's room for a riff on those, to make a sweet dill cake. Flavor the cake with white wine, use a mild olive oil, and mix in the dillweed. Perhaps use finely ground carmelized onions as a tunnel in ...

2024年11月26日 · But one type wasn’t what I was looking for – a small ciabatta loaf with olives, cheese and bacon embedded within. I found that interesting so ordered a couple. I had one for breakfast yesterday as mentioned on the Breakfast topic. $2.75 USD per bun but and extra $1.11 for delivery. How the cheese didn’t melt in the baking, I don’t know.
