2018年7月18日 · Made with poppy oil. Their Titanium white was tested along with some other brands and was the only one that didn’t yellow. Quality paint with high pigment load. M. Graham: Quality paints used by professionals, but said to be thin and oily, but slow drying. Schminke Mussini: Fast drying oil paint with resin in it rather than traditional oils.
Good oil paint brands? - WetCanvas: Online Living for Artists
2015年5月26日 · Which oil paint brands are good? (Now I consider both traditional oil colors and water soluble oil colors, as I am using vegetable oil to clean brushes during a session.) I don’t even know how to define a “good” oil paint brand. I guess: 1) Without handling problems 2) Without permanency problem
Oil paints brands, which ones are more fluid?
2016年2月22日 · All oil paints are slow drying; I don’t think there is any difference between brands, as the drying time depends on the nature of the pigment and the type of oil used. Some pigments are much slower to dry, especially newer synthetic pigments, while natural earth pigments like umber are faster dryers.
Which Oil Paint Brand Do YOU Recommend?
2000年9月13日 · Buy directly the good paint. If you want it softer, dilute it with some turpentine or add some oil with a rheology modifier to make your paint as short as the pure one. Mixing Brands of Water-Mixable Oils - WetCanvas: Online Living …
2021年1月2日 · I started water mixable paints about a year ago and bought every brand to find which I liked best. I prefer Cobra and Daniel Smith. Holbein may be good but it is expensive and other brands work as well. I buy Artisan cadmiums, because they are extremely expensive in other brands. But all the brands work together.
Oil paint tiers - WetCanvas: Online Living for Artists
2019年12月4日 · Please note that I live in Germany and my access to UK/US-made brands is quite limited (price-wise, with shipping costs and all I mean). I have seen many threads like this, but people usually tend to go straight to the premium brands with their recommendations. There must be good oil paint beside Old Holland, Michael Harding, Vasari and the like.
Your favorite oil paint - WetCanvas: Online Living for Artists
2017年11月18日 · Not all paint brands are available world wide. My favorite brand is Williamsburg…top of the line pigment load and pigment quality in mid-price range cost. The best range of earth colors and excellent grind (from extra fine to coarse). I get more bang for my money because it takes less paint due to the high quality.
Winsor & Newton Artists’ Oil Colors VS Maimeri Artisti Oil Colors
2016年10月14日 · Hi Seaside Artist, The website from the link above sells williamsburg and rembrandt oil paint for a relatively good price. The problem is that the amount of colors available is small. Could you please make a visit to this website and take a look at the colors’ selection of these two brands and recommend a palette of ten colors?
