Hello, I’m Nemo, a WGM and Content Creator for the esports organization CLG! I’ve been playing chess since I was 3 years old and became a Woman Grandmaster in 2016 with a peak FIDE rating of 2367. I am now a full-time content creator with CLG streaming chess (along with some League of Legends, poker, and other games).

2023年9月30日 · E.g. nemo was probably never above 2100 strength, but she has the WGM title anyway. Why someone would cheat to get a WGM title is beyond me, but I guess it does let her describe herself as a 'grandmaster' constantly on stream. This rubbed me the wrong way even before I found out about the allegations.

The event is being put on by Timber Moose Lodge which is not a chess organization but a retreat for businesses and parties etc. It's actually a really cool venue. One of the owners who does like chess wanted popular streamers at the event and I'm confident he knows nothing about any controversy surrounding Nemo.
