It is funny though how you have ДНР and ЛНР and Trans-Dniester Republic on your map, which has absolutely nothing to do with the British Empire.

Cool map. A couple of inaccuracies though: British dominance in the Levant and Arabia was even more complete - aside from Lebanon and Syria (under French control) and Saudi Arabia (independent) most of the area was under British control, including what's now Kuwait, Qatar, Israel, and the Palestinian territories.

The treaty made Nepal essentially a de facto protectorate of the British Empire, with a similar arrangement made with Bhutan in 1910.

2021年5月11日 · One problem: both the Congo and Indochina are owned by Britain's allies, Belgium and France respectively. Every country in Europe wanted the Congo or part of it. Already on this map you can go from South Africa to Siam without leaving the empire. That's pretty fucking incredible. Imagine if they built a railway line or highway or something.

2019年5月7日 · With British guidance, the Russian Empire is reformed into a constitutional monarchy and federation of states, mimicking the British Imperial Federation. The regions granted statehood are depicted on my map as follows: Russia, Finland, Baltica, Caucasia, Kazakhstan.

The borders of countries are mostly British made up mythology. For reference here are conflicts currently smoldering or in open confrontation because the British liked to play draw-on-a-map draw-on-a-map. Non of these countries actually existed before the british came. They were doing quite fine in their much smaller geographic areas.

Also, using this map that isn't detailed enough to show most of the Caribbean is not optimal if you want to show the british empire. Everyone knows about the big ones. The full extend of the empire can be shown better, if you also include all the small islands and countries around the world that used to be held by the British.

A map of India 23 years before the British took over. The British would have to fight 4 wars (against the Maratha Empire and the Kingdom of Mysore) before India comes under their rule. British rule in India lasts from 1818 to 1947

Among the four British supporters are fearsome military powerhouses like New Zealand and Norway. Meanwhile, the entire world aside from those 4 countries laughs at British claims over the Antarctica. This includes the biggest four militaries in the world - the US, Russia, China and India. All of them reject British claims.
