Materials and methods: This study was conducted in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, KLESVK Institute of Dental Sciences, Belgaum. The 40 patients selected for the study were divided into 2 groups of 20 patients each irrespective of age and sex.

This report presents a case of a 15-year-old female patient with a hemangiomatous lesion on the tongue that was successfully treated by cryosurgery using a liquid nitrogen spray. The patient demonstrated complete resolution of the lesion with good wound healing during the one-year follow-up period.

This article describes a simple and effective cryosurgical treatment for 92 patients who had 102 benign oral lesions. The procedure was performed by direct application of liquid nitrogen to the lesion using a cotton swab on an outpatient basis. This treatment required no sophisticated equipment and gave very satisfactory results.
