So if you don't know exactly what you want to build a very good option. The Flying Tyrant on the other hand has to focus on either ranged or melee, with melee being the obvious choice here.

Hive tyrant. If you like painting guns but like getting good models transported well, then paint the hive tyrant. Same for actual in game, because you can run different types of melee, and different types of shooting

2023年6月14日 · Ok hot take both. Or normal hive tyrant. Both at least without points want tyrant guard. One is much more flexible, the basic hive tryant has a ven cannon and bone sword. While giving out usage for 1 stratagem within 12. He has 6 vs lords 9 atks and that's really the main difference in damage in melee.

2018年12月10日 · Essentially, the Hive Tyrant pelvis points upward, and the Carnifex pelvis is pointed more forward, so if you put a Hive Tyrant on Carni legs it would end up hunched, and if you put a Carni on Tyrant legs it would stand upright. What I don't remember is if both pelvises have the same type of connector to the upper body.

2021年9月3日 · Swarmlord and Flyrant are equall right now. If you can buy only 1 kit choose which one you like more (visually,lore,gameplay etc. since they are both equall). Hive tyrant without wings is probably riskiest choice. Also wings are joy to paint.

Looking past all the other damage and durability stats it has, throw the reaper of obliterax on it to easily dismantle anything it touches, and you can redeploy it off the board at the end of YOUR turn when it's done its work.

2018年4月7日 · Hive Guard are far, far superior to Tyrant Guard. Tyrant Guard are mainly useful as ablative wounds for one or more Tyrants, but usually when you bring a Tyrant you're giving it Wings. Tyrant Guard might be useful for a Swarmlord but he already costs 300 points and adding Tyrant Guard on top of that just makes him a ridiculous point sink.
