2021年1月23日 · I built a website, and gave it the pwa feature. Basically, it tries to replace having to build an actual app on the Google play store or the app store. Now you're not going to get game quality apps running on a Pwa. Pwas are more for informational websites, and search engines like YouTube. You can have a pwa for TechCrunch, or a pwa for CNN.

I just shut all my background apps, went and turned the "open by default" setting for youtube links off, went out of the menu, went back into the menu, turned the setting back on, closed it all, opened youtube app, shut youtube app, opened Reddit app, went to load a youtube link and now it works.

When opened all my settings, bookmarks, etc. were still there Disabled all extensions, relaunched and tried to open it edit: I've also tried other heavy consumption websites like Netflix, HBO Max, etc. and Chrome doesn't crash when I go to the website and play a show/movie

If the whole google chrome (not only youtube) is lagging, while watching youtube videos (and disabling ad blockers didn't work for you). Paste this address: "chrome://settings/system" and try to disable "Use graphics acceleration when available". Another solution is to use Microsoft Edge youtube APP for watching youtube. My fear is that whilst Firefox will still support good adblockers long after Chrome doesn't, that Google will start deliberately 'breaking' YouTube for Firefox (or rather all non-chrome based) users, meaning the only way of being able to watch YouTube is via a chrome derivative, which they will be able to place adblock restrictions on.
