Gooeyducks = Gapers? | IFish Fishing Forum
2005年8月4日 · I have eaten geoduck on many occasions and it is my favorite eating shellfish, razors are a close second. In washington "gaper" clams are refered to as "horse" clams. Geoduck has a very mild sweet flavor (my mouth is watering just thinking about it) and gapers have a stronger more bold flavor. I much prefer geoduck. HB

2008年11月10日 · My wife got the same type scallops at City Grille, though, so I'm thinking they must be real. Darn sight bigger than any scallop I've ever handled though. Figure the scallop you are eating is actually just the adductor muscle, not the whole critter- so 2" diameter seems like something you'd see on a geoduck, not a scallop.
clams as crab bait | IFish Fishing Forum
2022年4月19日 · The razors I use on the coast. Puget sound and for shrimp I use horse clams. We end up with some monsters that smell like sewer while digging geoduck. Some I grind and add to shrimp bait, both spots and Coonstripe. Last summer it seemed we caught more red rock when we used horse clams with salmon or rock fish backbones. The shrimp loves clams.
