It was pretty easy going if I'm honest (those drugs were spot on) & I had immediate dentures placed in to go home with, fantastic, job done. The issue now is the healing.

If you mouth is too sore, please see your dentist so he can adjust and possibly place a denture liner for you (ie. Tissue conditioner or soft reline). But in general it take 4 to 6 weeks for the gums to close fully from the extractions.
