The Emu Plains JRLFC, colloquially known as just Emu, is a Rugby league club in the Penrith, New South Wales District. The club fields both Junior and Senior teams with players starting as early as 4 years old. The club colours are red, white and blue.

Wearing a jersey of emerald green, similar to that of Ireland, the Emus played in the inaugural competition the following year in 1948, taking on Wests, Wallaroos and Woollen Mills. Wests won that title, before Emus would claim the club's maiden premiership the next year in 1949 - one of many the greens would celebrate over the coming years.

Since 1947, Emus has promoted rugby union in Orange, the Central West and NSW Country with a focus on inclusivity and enjoyment. With first-class facilities at Endeavour Oval and a history of success on and off the field, Emus remains one of the strongest grassroots clubs in the state.
