2020年10月12日 · Any generation duramax will pull a 3 horse trailer handily. They all have their own quirks and issues that can be resolved, and once they are, you've got a reliable, strong truck for many miles. Most will say the 06-07 LBZ model to be the most desirable and reliable platform.

All that being said, I will say, you will rarely see diesel pickups in lumber camps in Northern Ontario (GM cold weather testing used to be in Hearst Ontario) because there is no hydro in the bush to plug trucks in.

2017年12月18日 · You have to be careful with scan tools on these trucks. Clearing codes won't always clear the warning lights or messages on the dic. Even my snap on solus ultra is a pain to use some times. The def systems have a "tamper" proofing built in that requires tests to run and pass before the lights and messages will clear.

2025年1月3日 · I've used Optimas since my '99 1500 and never had an issue. Used Blaine's Farm & Fleet labeled AGMs (Deka IIRC?), and currently using Interstate AGMs in all three trucks ('16 2500, '18 Colorado Diesel, '19 Tahoe 6.2) and they've been great for the past 4 years.

2022年8月6日 · What David said, I bought my 5th wheel, and had to sell my 1/2 ton gmc 1500, an get a 2500hd, found a new 2013 GMC2500HD SLE 6.6 LML put 900 miles on before picking my coach up followed the previous posters recommendations. only problems I've encountered, 2 glow plugs, DEF heater, TCM limp mode, leaking antenna.
