Craigslist Sellers often get the frame size wrong, so it pays to looks at the photos to get a rough idea of the frame size, and go see the bike if it appears to be the right size, regardless of what the Seller wrote in his/her ad.

Email is the preferred method of conversing for me. I also use a junk email account specifically for Craigslist so that if it gets phished, I move on to another one.
