2020年3月11日 · Reverse works fine, and if I manually shift to 1st, then bump it up to second its shifts and I can then place it into D, and OD. It down shifts and works fine from that point unless I stop, and then I have to manually shift again. I've searched this forum and numerous others with regards to the 700R4.

Looking down onto-shift lever rod, use snap-ring pliers to remove “C” snap ring. 2010年6月12日 · Is it normal for an '84 700R4 transmission to shift almost immediately from 3'rd to 4'th gear at low (25-30 mph or so) speeds? Under light acceleration the 1-2 shift seems about right (18 mph or so), followed by 2-3 at about 20-25MPH.
