2023年1月13日 · LEARN MAP LAYOUT. Having a basic knowledge of map layout will help you make snap decisions for surprise or timed hordes. The ability to make snap-decisions in this game will save you and your team a lot of trauma and physical damage. The best spots to learn are the ones that minimize or funnel ridden into as few directions as possible.

The Campaign is the core cooperative game mode in Back 4 Blood. By default, the Campaign is broken up into four Acts, ten Chapters and 33 Missions. With the River of Blood expansion the Campaign has be expanded to a total of six Acts, twelve Chapters and 44 Missions.

Here is a selection from my Level Architecture work illustrating the process and evolution of level, 'Light Guide Us', in Back 4 Blood's Expansion 2: Children of the Worm. I started with a initial top down and location from Level Designer, Chris Ashton, and began to block it out in SketchUp to quickly bring my level geometry into Unreal Engine.

Map layout vs. enemy spawns So...there are a few maps that are basically entirely narrow passageways. There are different routes and passages but they're effectively always funneling you and the ridden into each other.

It's just the first map of the Evansburg campaign and I'm not finished building all the geometry yet, but the layout is pretty close to the original and it's really fun playing these maps with tanks and witches!
