A REAL PILOT’S IMPRESSIONS OF THE AH-64D APACHE FOR DCS
2022年9月20日 · These days I’m flying the Apache in DCS 99% of the time. 2023年9月22日 · The Cobra was the brainchild of a Bell engineer named Mike Folse. In early 1965, Lockheed had won the competition for a new dedicated attack helicopter. The Bell entry, the Warrior, was somewhat lackluster, while Lockheed, who had never produced a helicopter, promised all sorts of gee-wiz capabilites. Morale at Bell was low.
Apache - 35 hrs. of maintenance per flight hour?
I was an apache guy, did both Delta company (heavy maintenance, 8+ 500 hr phases) and line company work (A co). I would say it would average out to about 20-35 man hours roughly. It really depends honestly. Like every 25hours/14days you have an inspection that will take 4 people 4hours to do, not counting any issues that arise.
