2024年2月29日 · In this spot only I have permission to hunt and hunt it alone. The fellow that that got this spot use to hunt with me there, but passed away two years ago. Back to monday ,I hunted this area 7.5 hours and killed three rabbits, and the gps showed 14.5 miles on the dogs.

2024年12月20日 · I know there are still rabbits…I see some tracks. But I’m in the woods hunting and trapping nearly everyday, from October though the end of March….I’ve see two rabbits in the last three years. Some areas I’m beaver trapping is prime rabbit territory too.

2021年12月27日 · Had a really nice rabbit hunt. My 3 dogs were on 6 different chases on a 3 hour hunt. Surprised because I hunted this farm earlier this season and only had a couple chases. Saw deer and turkey too. Game was moving before the snow hit.

2015年12月19日 · Just move on and keep hunting, that rabbit is most likely gone. Just try to jump another one. When hunting without a dog I like to hunt the edge of fields or the edge of some wood lots. You want to give yourself the best open shot you can get if you do jump one...

2013年1月30日 · I also archery hunt, hunt squirrel, hunt dove, and occasionally hunt coons and possums. I'm in the woods 4-5 days every week from September until the end of Feb. I get about 120-140 hunting days each year. Then it's fishing time.
