2006年1月23日 · Any analog CCTV camera by nature runs signals on RG59 or RG6, and power in dual 18 gauge power leads. Have a look for what they call siamese cable which looks just like dual RG6, except 1 cable is rg59 or rg6 and the other is a dual 18gauge power cable. That cable will do just about any camera w/night vision LED's and most PTZ as well.

Thus using just RG-6 essentially means that the cable in question somehow deviates from the original /U (or /A, /B, etc.) specification in some manner. /U actually means "multiple uses". 2009年3月9日 · I've got a good 75' of it feeding both my digital/HD cable box and cable modem. Absolutely no issues. Internet speed is sometimes better than advertised. Pulling will only work if there's no staples or cable clamps. Not very likely to work.

2009年6月8日 · The outside cable is RG6. I just got the Hopper, so from node to hopper, I'll get the RG6 cable then, as currently the cable sitting here are Rg-59. Thanks for the tip What if the cable (about to be purchased) is rated at 3.5GHz instead of 3GHz? Would it make any difference in picture quality or other features?

2009年5月25日 · The dish is 15 feet up, mounted on a C-Band satellite dish pole with about 100 fet of RG-6 cable run to my receivers. The technician told me the signal strength would be better if we relocated the dish closer to the house and have a shorter coax run from the dish.

Will the available satellite signal strength effect what this this length may be?,in otherwords if signal is strong at LNB, would a longer run of RG6 be less of an issue than if the signal were marginal?

2023年8月4日 · I did a lot of research at the time and it was supposed to be pretty good. On the jacket it says TRT E224758 RG-6U 18awg (UL) C (UL) CMG FT4 OR CATV (UL) OR CL2 (UL) OR AWMSTYLE FT. When I purchased the cable I also bought around a $70 Coax compression tool and from the same place some Stirling SPL-6RTQ Connecters.
