Its distinctive beauty stems from its exterior design, influenced by the Taj Mahal in India and Western-style temples. The mosque is often referred to as the “Thai Taj Mahal,” designed by architect Prasitthipon Mungkia.

This beautiful mosque in Pattani is the most impressive I have come across in Thailand. It is built in the style of the Taj Mahal. Unfortunately few Western tourists visit Pattani because of the senseless travel warnings of Western governments.
