i made a Eliphant inspired from the original lord of the ring and prehistorical elephant around the world.

I was the texture painter for the Mumakil. We used elephant skin for reference, carefully getting the scale right so it didn't look like we took a normal sized elephant and simply enlarged it.

Mûmakil had an appearance akin to that of an elephant, sporting thick, arrow-resistant skin, and sharp tusks. Their most defining feature was their vast size, allowing the armies of Mordor to erect war towers on their backs.

Mûmakil were large creatures resembling elephants, often used in battle by the Haradrim. To most cultures, the Mûmak were creatures of great size, as fearsome as dragons and to them were ascribed all kinds of strange powers.
