2018年7月11日 · Ok. There's so many of these mini's out there, certainly by now someone has found new shocks or tubes to replace these with. I've got over 2000 miles on mine, and the shocks are about toast. I ordered new seals, just in case they can be replaced, but I can't believe that Baja designed a front fork assembly totally unique to their brand.

2008年9月24日 · As the forks don't have suspension and are just straight tubes it makes straightening much easier. On a steel table make a lay-out of the centerline and where the fork tubes are suppose to be. Use steel spacers as needed to position the upper [unbent portion] of the forks over the top of the lay-out. Tack weld everything to the table.

2010年3月10日 · Those two bolts go THROUGH the whole system, and the springs have a loop at the end which the bolt goes through to hold the system together.. Prop the bike up in the air, take out the two 1/4 - 20 bolts from the steering head and the forks and front wheel will just about fall out on the ground springs and all.....

2007年7月22日 · I cut my forks in half at the point about half way below the bottom of the triple tree and the end of the forks. I then staightened the forks using a 4 foot long solid bar and heat (All I have is a MAPP torch which I know is barely enough heat for the job.). I needed to bolt my work bench to the wall because of all the bendinng effort required.
