2025年1月25日 · Get the PM7000N, it's the better sounding amp. Really the only difference (streamer aside) between the Marantz units is a different DAC chip and the 7000N puts out 2x 60W compared to the 2x 45W of the 6007. I doubt there will be any perceptible difference in sound characteristics.

2025年1月25日 · I own a PM6007 and CD6007. However, they are no longer paired together. The PM is now in my library system with a Technics SL-QL1 (mid 80's linear turntable) and my early JVC CD (never remember the model of that one). The CD6007 is paired with a PM8006 in my studio. I stream using an old iPad connected from the headphone out to RCA ins.
