The Farne Islands comprises of beautiful cliff faces covered in wildlife to the remains of various ship wrecks. The water around the Farnes and the surrounding coastline is among the clearest in the country and offers superb diving for all.

More than 60 ships lie in one underwater graveyard in the Farne Islands, all put there by a reef which in olden times they called the Knavestone, probably because of its treacherous nature. ... The map created by people like you!

Most of the dive sites are around the outer Farnes with wrecks to explore as well as stunning reefs and walls. There is a resident colony of around 4-5 thousand grey seals on the islands. They are clumsy on land but fast and agile underwater. The young seals are very inquisitive and often sneak up on divers to nibble fins.

The Farne Islands are a group of uninhabited islands off the coast of Northumberland. There are between 15 and 20 islands depending on the state of the tide, scattered about 1½–4¾ miles from the mainland, divided into two groups, the Inner Group and the Outer Group.
