Start with coarse sandpaper and work down to a finer grade. Use only fine-grade sandpaper on soft wood. Balsa filler is a must for uneven surfaces. Keep at it until everything is silky smooth. Sand the airframe to perfection. Clean the workbench and airplane parts with a vacuum.
