If only having a Mic in Dota meant communication. So many times I have called out incoming ganks, only for the Sniper to sit there auto-attacking creeps and killed 20s later.

If I want to use for example skype with my headphones on, will the mic on my laptop detect the sound? Or will I need a splitter for the jack and a separate mic?(wich is to much trouble I think)

A desktop mic with noise cancellation (most don't have it) will pick up your voice when you're directly in front of the mic. But if you move slightly to the side or turn your head, the volume of your voice will drop a lot.

2019年1月9日 · The microphone picks up noise sometimes but it is all static, no sound of my voice. I have also played with volume boost settings. The headphone portion is working splendid. I also tried plugging in the jack without the adapter into the microphone slot; same issue (I tried all slots on my tower by the way).

2015年12月18日 · I've tried half a dozen headsets, and none work so I can hear my own voice when speaking into headset mic. I can hear other caller, and he can hear me, but I want to hear my own voice in my own headphones when I speak. Only set that can do that that works for now is the Logitech h540, had to download software for it also.

My problem is that over the ear headsets are the only way I know of to have a sidetone, I cannot use a headset without a sidetone.

I have a Blu Yeti which is fine, so I don't want one built into my headset. Wireless/Bluetooth isn't necessary either. Let's say my Budget is $500. Thanks for any input in advance.
