This is what allowed me to spend $38,000 on a very gently used (3k miles) 2015 Transit 350 LWB Power Stroke diesel (bought in July of 2016). 2020年12月2日 · As far as getting a 2020 or 2021 Transit with the 3.5L EcoBoost engine, the only body styles that you can't get that engine is the SWB passenger vans. Most Ford dealers want to make that QUICK SALE whether from their inventory or another area dealer and are not concerned with helping you get the best fit for your needs.

I'm also a big fan of Ford Transit cargo vans, and I think the 3.2L i-5 Powerstroke diesel engine is a great choice. 150K miles is definitely a lot, but with proper maintenance and care, the engine should still have plenty of life left in it. I'd definitely recommend getting it fully inspected before purchasing, just to be safe.

2020年4月25日 · Thanks for the review - good info. The Transit is primarily a cargo van for sure - that is Ford's primary market as seen in these three videos recently posted on the Ford Motor Company YouTube channel. The Transit RV market share is minor by comparison.

2020年6月9日 · Ford has consistently been the fleet delivery van of choice in the USA because they are the cheapest delivery vans in the USA. The fact that Mercedes, Fiat-Chrysler and Nissan are able to sell ANY fleet vans may be a testament to their comparable long term cost of ownership; even though I have my doubts about the Fiat.

2016年10月9日 · Back to the 3.7, after doing a lot of reading of personal reviews and opinions and long term reliability studies, the 3.7 was my #1 choice on the engines offered. Cost was also factored in; the extra $1500 or $6000 conclusively ruled out the other motors. If the price was right on a used van, I would avoid either motor, though. Maybe the diesel.
