2015年8月22日 · For almost 30 years, Carl has devoted his annual office vacation entitlement to going on working holidays at National Trust properties. Most of the 141 working weeks he has clocked up have been on the Cragside estate in Northumberland, but he has also grafted at trust estates in Wallington, Keswick and in Yorkshire.

Cragside is a Victorian Tudor Revival country house near the town of Rothbury in Northumberland, England. It was the home of William Armstrong, 1st Baron Armstrong, founder of the Armstrong Whitworth armaments firm.
