2024年11月21日 · The California Earthquake Hazards Zone Application ("EQ Zapp") is an online map that allows anyone with a computer, tablet or smartphone to conveniently check whether a property is in an earthquake hazard zone.

MyHazards is a tool for the general public to discover hazards in their area (earthquake, flood, fire, and tsunami) and learn steps to reduce personal risk. Using the MyHazards tool, users may enter an address, city, zip code, or may select a location from a map.

The easiest way is to find out if a property is located in a Seismic Hazard Zone is to use the California Earthquake Hazards Zone Application or search our collection of online maps. You can also visit one of the California Geological Survey offices (call ahead), or your city or county office.

The CGS Earthquake Zones of Required Investigation map data presented in this application provide a full resolution digital representation of the Official Zone Maps for fault rupture, liquefaction and seismic landslide hazards in California.

Use this app to find and download CGS Earthquake Zones of Required Investigation Maps (EZRIM), Fault Evaluation Reports (FER), and Seismic Hazard Zone Reports (SHZR). These publications provide information regarding official earthquake fault zones, liquefaction zones, and earthquake-induced landslide zones.

Three types of geological hazards, referred to as seismic hazard zones, may be featured on the map: 1) liquefaction, 2) earthquake-induced landslides, and 3) overlapping liquefaction and earthquake-induced landslides.
