To build Ki, we brought together market-leading partners with domain knowledge, in Google Cloud, UCL and Brit to collaborate on creating the first algorithmic underwriting approach ever for specialty insurance. In our first year we underwrote more than US$400m Gross Written Premium, which we more than doubled in our second year of trading.
