Alex Toth (1928 – 2006) was an American cartoonist active from the 1940s through the 1980s. Toth's work began in the American comic book industry, but he is also known for his animation designs for Hanna-Barbera throughout the 1960s and 1970s.

Alex Toth was a professional illustrator. He started his career in comic books on the late 40's, working for DC Comics on some of their superhero titles. After his short stint at the US Army, Toth started working on the Animation industry, where he contributed to Hanna Barbera with his Space Ghost design and later the Super Friends cartoon.
