2020年12月10日 · Synopsis: This time Luke is hunted by the bounty hunter, Valance (That we originally met in issue 16). Forced to live as a cyborg due to injuries sustained from an aerial torpedo, Valance’s mission is to find Luke Skywalker. Not only is Luke a droid-owner, but he also apparently treats them as equals, which Valance finds repulsive.

Though Doshun had been a friend of Solo's, he was not Luke Skywalker, the battle station's true destroyer. Still, Doshun, joined by his friends from the former Star-Hoppers, the mercenary group that had once defeated a pirate band from Aduba, routed Valance's crew and sent the bounty hunter off to begin his search anew.

In Star Wars #16, Valance learns about Luke Skywalker's destruction of the Death Star and kind treatment of C-3PO and R2-D2. Valance becomes obsessed with finding and killing Luke and his droid companions, an obsession that would play out in the Star Wars title in future issues.
