2014年9月9日 · Since the Surface Pen seems to need a higher working voltage with the batteries than other devices do. A lot of batteries have an initial steep drop in voltage output, then flattens out to a slow steady decline from 1.5 down to around 1.0 volt, then drops off the cliff.

2020年9月16日 · The warranty exchange pen I received ended up behaving the same way. So, I purchased the Bamboo Ink pen and haven't had a single issue. For $49.95, it's a great pen but doesn't offer the same feature set as the Surface pen. If you don't need the extra functionality of the Surface pen, I would highly recommend getting this pen.

The pens for the newer Surface Pro will not work. The pen for older Samsung Tablets like the Note 10.1 2014 will work also.

2014年8月13日 · The pen operates via Bluetooth. Not sure about other computers but I have found automatic Bluetooth reconnections between the Surface and a Bluetooth device not that reliable. I frequently have to twiddle with the Bluetooth setting on the Surface to reconnect. Connection problems to my Bose speaker happens with some frequency.
