I have friends to help me so the task is do able, but instead of waiting around for your method (which I will do if I have to) I would like to transport some villagers to my abandoned village from another one via mine cart. There are only 2 villagers in this village atm.

2020年12月2日 · Once they have depopulated a village, that’s it. They’re gone unless you have two in order to breed them together. Your only other option is to get some zombie villagers, cure them, and then breed them together. Otherwise I would just abandon your village and start the repopulation of the other one that still has villagers.

No, villagers will not spontaneously respawn if there are none left. If you have at least 2 they may repopulate if there are enough valid houses and there are farms to supply food. You can also encourage breeding by making trades. You can also bring villagers in from another village.

2022年7月28日 · With 2 villagers, you can repopulate the village... it would just take a while using just two since the baby takes 20 minutes to grow up. Give each of them either 3 bread, 12 carrots, 12 potatoes, or 12 beetroots and a valid path to an empty bed.

2019年5月27日 · Wanting to know if there is any way to repopulate a "dead" village in the recent update. In my specific example, for instance, I only have one villager left. What I mainly want to know is : Can you breed the wandering trader? Can I drag a villager from another village to my own? Is there another way to repopulate the village in survival mode?

2015年1月5日 · Soon the village was down to one villager. I closed off the dungeon and built an iron golem. That one villager still survives many days/weeks later. I figured if there were two villagers they would - eventually - repopulate the village. I went back to the first village and tried to push a villager to an exit.

However, after a few nights of staying there, i noticed that the entire village was completely abandoned, with no villagers (or cats) in sight.
