2019年9月19日 · On my previous IdeaPad, I used Lenovo's default power manager which helped give my battery a long life (I didn't really use the power manager at first, so the original died in about 2 years. With the replacement I used the manager more and it lasted me until the entire computer was no longer usable).

2015年8月10日 · It does seem to work with few glitches though. Windows 10 also has fewer ways to personalize. As you say, the power controls are much less customizable than Lenovo's Power Manager, but that is a Lenovo program. However, even some Windows personalization is abbreviated in its ability to customize.

2024年1月8日 · Eventually by finding what process closes the window if killed, one named "Lenovo Power Manager Host", I managed to track it down to "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Lenovo\PowerMgr\PowerMgr.exe" being responsible. There did not appear to be any way to really uninstall or configure this.

2020年3月18日 · Restarting doesn't help. I also can't find where in "Programs and features" to uninstall the power manager and re-install it. Uninstalling and reinstalling Lenovo Vantage does not fix. System Update and Lenovo update don't show any new updates for my system. Windows update doesn't show any new updates for my system.

2015年9月11日 · This is a problem with transferring factory bloatware during an in-place Upgrade. Try uninstalling the Lenovo power software in Control Panel>Programs Then reinstall it from the Lenovo Support Downloads webpage for your exact model PC. Use the Windows 8.1 software if there is no 10 driver.
