Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is meeting in Geneva with his counterparts from Britain, France, Germany and the E.U. in an effort to end the weeklong conflict with Israel.

Iran is ready to consider diplomacy if Israel's attacks stop, the Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said after a meeting with the E3 and the EU in Geneva Friday, according a statement posted on Iranian state media. In the meantime, Iran will continue to exercise its legitimate right to self-defense, Araghchi said.

Iran’s internet blackout has now lasted more than two days, according to NetBlocks, an internet monitoring group. The shutdown has cut off almost all communication with the outside world. It is the most severe internet blackout recorded since nationwide protests swept Iran in 2019, said the monitoring group.
