Hawaii's Kilauea volcano is erupting again in spectacular fashion, sending lava shooting 1,000 feet into the sky, according to the United States Geological Survey. Jets of searing hot molten lava spewed more than 1,000 feet into the Hawaiian air Friday from the Kilauea volcano.

Kilauea Volcano’s “episode 25” started around noon and ended at 8:08 p.m. on Wednesday – with the latest lava fountains climbing to about 1,000 feet.
