TOKYO, June 19 (Xinhua) -- A 6.1-magnitude earthquake struck off the Nemuro Peninsula in eastern Hokkaido on Thursday, Japan's weather agency said.

CCTV shows a grocery store shaking as a magnitude 5 earthquake hit Indonesia this morning. The quake epicentre struck around 38 km (24 miles) south of Bandung, West Java, at 9:41 am local time.
