Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini announced the establishment of a research chair in the name of freedom fighter Pandit Shriram Sharma, at Rohtak’s Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU).

“Pandit Sharma served in many prestigious positions in joint Punjab as well as in Haryana after 1966. In 1965, he was appointed Chairman of the Haryana Development Committee by the government.

The officials concerned of MDU’s establishment branch confirmed that they have asked the employees to share their details as asked for by Rohtak MP Arvind Sharma.
