Then I get muddled and urge Big Daughter to get a life. It’s never been easy to identify her homework – what it is or where it is. The Homework Diary has rarely surfaced over the years.

So if you see a blank homework diary, talk to the school. You might like to talk to other parents first though, to establish if it's the same for them. In trouble.
