JAMISON CITY, Pa. (AP) - Four central Pennsylvania residents say they rescued a young bear whose head had been stuck in a plastic jar for at least 11 days.

A New Jersey cat with a jar on her head was rescued on Christmas Day. Animal advocates are now looking for a home for the “Christmas miracle” they named Merry.

After the jar was slipped off the its head, the feline was placed in a cat carrier. It appeared uninjured, looking up at rescuers with curiosity, according to video of the rescue.
