WWE Hall of Fame star Goldberg returned to Raw this week and set up a world title match against GUNTHER for July 12 at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta, Georgia. It’s been widely assumed this is Goldberg’s retirement match,

Goldberg keeps coming back for “one more match,” but pretty soon, his career will come to an end. The 58-year-old former WCW champion is already in the WWE Hall of Fame, and he recently challenged Gunther to a match for a World title match on the July 12 episode of Saturday Night’s Main Event.

In 2024 it was announced that Goldberg would have his retirement match at some point in 2025. Goldberg vs. Gunther at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event became official on Monday, and WWE is billing the bout as Goldberg's final match.
