6月15日，新西兰政府宣布：自2025年11月起，中国访客如持有效澳大利亚访客、工作、学生、家庭类签证，且从澳大利亚赴新，只须申请新西兰电子旅行许可证（NZeTA,New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority）即可免签入境新西兰。入境后，可最多停留3个月，无需额外申请签证。该政策不适用于过境澳大利亚的中国游客。该政策将试行一年。
