Musk has said Tesla is "super paranoid" about safety and that humans will remotely monitor the fleet, which also has safety monitors in front seats.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating Tesla's self-driving 'robotaxis' in Texas after videos showed erratic behavior. While some rides perform perfectly, safety concerns persist.

Tesla came up with the "robotaxi" concept, but before them Alphabet was already in the streets providing driverless cabs in a delimited area in San Francisco.
