The Dallas Stars traded veteran forward Mason Marchment to the Seattle Kraken on Thursday night. In exchange, the Stars received a fourth-round draft pick in 2025 and a third-round selection in 2026.

Seattle took on all of Marchment’s $4.5 million cap hit for next season in the deal, according to league sources.
